One call, three parts
- The employee calls normally using their Android phone and work SIM. CallSync reads the phone’s call log with the permissions granted during setup.
- The phone app syncs eligible call details to the linked workspace when internet is available. If the calling app made a recording, CallSync can attach and upload that audio separately.
- The dashboard brings those calls together by person and contact. You can review calls, play uploaded audio, add notes and labels, and view reports.
What appears in the workspace
| Data | What it means |
|---|---|
| Call details | The number, incoming/outgoing/missed status, date, time, duration and employee. Only eligible SIM calls are included. |
| Contact details | Names, notes and labels associated with tracked contacts, when metadata sync is enabled. |
| Recordings | Audio created by the phone’s calling app and attached to a tracked call. CallSync does not create the original recording. |
| AI analysis | An optional transcript, summary and suggestions generated from an uploaded recording when AI is enabled and credits are available. |
What affects which calls sync
- The selected SIM and tracking start date limit the calls eligible for syncing.
- Personal and workspace exclusions keep specified numbers out of tracking. Archive only hides contacts from default views.
- WhatsApp, Meet and other internet calls are outside this SIM call-tracking flow.
- Call tracking, recording uploads and contact metadata have separate controls in Team.
When the phone is offline
An offline phone cannot update the dashboard. Eligible call history can sync after it reconnects, provided tracking is enabled and the plan is active.
Call details and audio may arrive at different times. A recent last-sync time confirms a phone check-in; it does not prove every recording has uploaded. Check the specific call and play its audio to confirm.
