Phone services: what the workspace receives

Open Team → Manage person → Phone services. These switches control separate types of data.

Recording uploadUpload recordings attached to tracked calls. It does not turn on recording in the phone’s calling app.
Names, notes & labels syncKeep tracked contact information in sync between the app and dashboard.

Employee permissions: what they can change

The mobile-data control governs recording uploads over mobile data. Review it alongside the phone’s Upload recordings on mobile data setting; the app can show that it is managed or required by the organisation.

A workspace switch does not grant Android system permissions. Call-log, phone and audio/folder access still need to be allowed on the device.

  • Pause tracking and choose the tracked SIM.
  • Change the tracking start date and add personal exclusions.
  • Change the recordings folder when the device uses folder attachment.
  • Show the Disconnect option in the app.

When a change takes effect

Changes reach the employee’s phone on its next sync. Open the app with internet, use Sync now in Business sync settings, and verify a new call.

If the phone is Quiet or disconnected, a saved dashboard change may not have reached it yet. Last sync is a check-in time, not a guarantee that every item uploaded.
