What you need
- A supported Android phone with your work SIM and internet access. Check Google Play on that phone for installation compatibility.
- Your own six-digit pairing code or setup instructions from your administrator. Keep the code private.
- A clear agreement on the work SIM, tracking start date, personal exclusions and recording uploads.
Install the Android app
Open the Google Play link provided by your administrator or the official download link below. Install CallSync on the phone you use for work calls.
Open CallSync and follow the app’s permission prompts. Read each request and allow the access needed for the services you agreed to use. Android permissions and business sharing settings are separate.

Review what will sync
- Choose the work SIM and tracking start date if these settings are available to you.
- Add personal call exclusions before the first business sync. Include the correct country code.
- Check recording and mobile-data upload settings separately. Some controls may be managed by your organisation.

Need recordings too?
Recording setup is a separate step. Your phone’s calling app must create the audio; CallSync then attaches and uploads it. Follow “Set up call recordings” for phone-specific options and folder/manual-sharing instructions.
Confirm that a test recording plays in the dashboard. Seeing a call log alone does not verify audio upload.
Keep syncing in the background
In Android Settings → Apps → CallSync, allow the background activity and background data required for syncing. Enable autostart if your phone offers it. Menu names vary by device.
Keep the phone online when you want it to upload. If syncing stops, open CallSync, review Business sync settings and use Sync now. Recheck permissions after a phone software update.
Changing phones or having trouble?
Ask your administrator to disconnect the old device from your existing team member, then use that same person’s pairing code on the replacement. You do not need to delete your employee profile to replace a phone.
For setup problems, share your device model, the step you reached and the exact error with your administrator or support. Do not share your pairing code publicly.
